​what IS SHEWLIN

Villa Shurin is a rental villa-style highland resort facility located in Flower Town, Karuizawa Prince Land, at an altitude of 1,100m at the foot of Mt. Asama.

There are 10 cottages, all detached, ranging from suites for 2 people, log houses for families for 4-6 people, group cottages for 5-6 people, and ex-cottages for 6-8 people . All cottages are fully equipped with a kitchen, bath, and toilet. Not only bedding and furniture, but also the basic necessities for resort life are provided (please bring your own toiletries, towels, and pajamas) . Free WIFI is available in each cottage , so you can "work remotely from your resort home"!

The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, tableware and basic seasonings.

You can cook your own meals by purchasing ingredients at the supermarket (10 minutes by car). Of course, you can enjoy BBQ even in the rain on the covered veranda of each cottage or in the garden (free tarp provided).

Compared to the town of Karuizawa, the Asama Highlands are at a higher altitude and have lower humidity, so come and experience a summer without needing air conditioning!
