​WHAT IS
SHEWLIN

Villa Shewlin is a rental villa-style highland resort facility located in Flower Town, Karuizawa Prince Land, at an altitude of 1,100m at the foot of Mount Asama.

 

There are 10 cottages, all detached, ranging from suites for two people, log cabins for families of 4-6 people, group cottages for 5-6 people, and exclusive cottages for 6-8 people. All cottages are fully equipped with a kitchen, bath, and toilet. In addition to bedding and furniture , everything you need for resort life is provided (please bring your own toiletries, towels, and pajamas) . Free Wi-Fi is available in each cottage , so you can even "work remotely from your resort home"!

The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, tableware, and basic seasonings.

You can also cook your own meals by purchasing ingredients at the supermarket (10 minutes by car).Of course, you can enjoy BBQ even on rainy days on the covered veranda of each cottage or in the garden (free tarp provided).

 

Compared to the town of Karuizawa, Asama Highlands is at a higher altitude and has lower humidity, so be sure to experience summer without the need for air conditioning!
